Day 859 - All I Wanted Was A White Knight

Shoes: Black patent 'Paw Paw' Irregular Choice 

I was tidying my drawer the other day which is home to most of my leggings, vests and tops. I found this Barbie pair, so wanted to work them into an outfit this week as I haven't worn them before. I tend to like to wear a busy and bright print with something plain, but was struggling to find a black dress of the right length (my black dresses are 'dressier' and longer). I tried a patterned dress first though (black with little cream hearts), but it didn't look right.  I must stop being so critical of my outfits because I think I've nit-picked every day this week! You know when something just isn't 100% right though, either you don't feel it or it doesn't look it? I'm not being negative for no reason, just being a bit of a perfectionist perhaps.  It's quite useful to document though because you identify the gaps within your wardrobe and can create a list of things to look out for next time you're shopping (and thus I've turned it into a 'positive'!).  This dress has served me well since I bought it, but it's not a favourite, so I maybe need to look for a shorter length plain black dress to wear with my patterned leggings.

Wearing: Black skater dress Primark, Barbie leggings Miss Selfridge, patent belt taken from another dress, headscarf MAC/Fafi.
Fit: True to size, a little 'flat' in the toe. Adjustable buckle on strap. Just over 4" heel.
Comfort: Didn't have any issues with these today.
