Day 856 - She Was Running Low On Faith And Gasoline

Shoes: Blue spot 'Flopsy' Irregular Choice

Haven't felt up to blogging over the past few days, but yesterday got a little burst of energy!   My 'break' meant I wasn't quite as organised with getting this post published on the day though. Anyway, I wanted to wear my Flopsy bunny shoes again and this time with leggings rather than tights.  You'll maybe recall they rubbed my tights last time (because of the hard metallic lining), this time it was my poor skin!  I actually wasn't in any discomfort or even aware of anything until I took my shoes off (wore them for maybe half an hour and walked outdoors for around 10 minutes) and noticed little blood dots, like puncture marks.  One foot was worse off than the other.  I'd already managed to paper cut my finger twice in the same spot (ouch), so was sporting a (rather adorable) My Little Pony plaster on my finger.  The 'puncture' marks could require one too-a sad day when you want to get hurt just to wear cute plasters ; )  Anyway I might try an insole next time because like I've mentioned before they are a bit roomy on me and yesterday I was aware of them slipping on and off my heel, so it's probably that action that caused the bleeding.  I don't really want to have to wear them with tights all the time as all my tights will get ruined.  I never thought I'd say this, but IC bring back the crushed velvet inside! Or at least something soft.  A small price to pay for such wonderful shoes though, remember the reaction they got last time I wore them? Well this time two little girls giggled and followed me along the road (!) They were coming towards me and did the obligatory look me up and down thing, then once they got behind and saw the heels, they crossed over and came back the way they'd just been, all the while I'm acting like I have noooo idea what they're looking at!

Wearing: Floral pussy-bow dress Red Herring at Debenhams,  leggings Primark, straw hat clip Miss Selfridge, Fluttershy plaster H&M.
Fit: I find my regular size short in length (despite them measuring the standard size), so for comfort I'm wearing the size up although they do feel a little big.
Comfort: Easy to walk in, didn't feel uncomfortable but the lining rubs.

  1. I love them, although not good that they are painful. Nonetheless, I can't wait to wear mine!
I love the dress as well, and how cute is the hat clip?
