Day 772 - I Have Loved You For A Thousand Years

Shoes: Cat Tapestry 'Lita' Jeffrey Campbell

It was milder today and no frost/ice by the time I ventured out, which was nice.  I forgot how pleasant it was to be able to choose a pair of shoes simply because you want to wear them, rather than thinking about if you'll fall on ice in them and are they warm enough!  Another new dress and one I've attempted to wear at least twice before but changed into something else last minute.  I can't admit to putting much thought into this outfit mind you, but it worked alright.

Wearing:  Rabbit print shirt dress H by Henry Holland, suede leggings Primark, swallow cardigan Dorothy Perkins, lace ankle socks H&M.
Fit: I bought these from Office so they are EU/UK sized, these were a 38/5. Just under 5" heel and 1 3/4" platform.
Comfort: Didn't have any issues.

Day 771 - I'm Really, Really Getting Into Your Freak Show

Shoes: Black 'Toad In the Hole' Irregular Choice

I was keen to get out for some fresh air even although it rained all day-so I dressed mainly for the elements and broke out the 'big guns', yep Toad In The Hole are back!!  I'm thrilled about that!  I'm planning a little piece on my new Pearl Lowe dresses I got recently and this is one of them.  I feel like I've been wearing tonnes of black recently, so this bright tomato red made a pleasant change.

Wearing:  Red floral dress Pearl Lowe at Peacocks, cardigan Bonmarche, coat and hat Primark.
Fit: True to size, inside zip, so no need to undo all the laces. Heel 4 3/4" and platform 1 3/4".
Comfort: No issues with these.

Day 770 - While Dancing We'll Kiss, Like There's No Tomorrow

Shoes: Red Blythe 'Dice' Irregular Choice

You'll have to use your imagination a little with this outfit today.  Dad was in the attic bringing down the Christmas decorations and therefore there are piles of boxes obstructing my view to the mirror, so no full-length pic.  You've seen the dress before though, so it's nothing new.  I'm so excited I get to wear these boots again-I absolutely adore them.  They are comfortable too (very padded underfoot), which is always a bonus.  I had an entirely different outfit in mind for today, then at the last minute this dress and the boots just came together. It was quite icy outside though, so after nearly losing my walking stick a couple of times to icy puddles, I decided the road was safer to walk on!

Wearing: Bird print dress Dorothy Perkins, black leggings, spotty coat and hat all Primark, cardigan Bonmarche.
Fit: True to size, just over 4 1/4" heel and small concealed platform, lace up.
Comfort: No issues with these.

Day 769 - Suddenly The World's Too Big

Shoes: Black knee high boots 'Jupiter' Irregular Choice

I'm just back from seeing Rise Of The Guardians-I literally haven't been to the pictures in years. I think Troy was the last thing I saw, seriously! Anyway ROTG was really good and it was my first movie in 3D which took a bit of getting used to-it was like a trip to the opticians "is it sharper with or without your real glasses?"! It was absolutely freezing outside though, I was glad to get home and into my jammies and blanket! Anyway outfit-wise I kept it simple, this is another one of my new Henry Holland dresses, isn't the fish print just fabulous?

Wearing: Goldfish dress H by Henry Holland (Debenhams), black leggings Primark, cardigan Bonmarche.
Fit: True to size (although I opted for a size up purely for leg room) but the foot is a little large on me. Full length zip. Heel just over 4 1/4" and small concealed platform.
Comfort: No issues.

Day 768 - They're Singing "Deck The Halls", But It's Not Like Christmas At All

Shoes: Leopard 'Wild Thing' Irregular Choice

I expected to get out on Saturday and was halfway through getting dressed when Mum told me not to bother.  She'd been out and the streets were like an ice-rink, it was absolutely treacherous.  After me slating the council for wasting loads of grit on the pavements on Friday, it seems it hadn't made a blind bit of difference.  Sunday, I was busy with eBay and today although we'd had a little snow overnight, it cleared quickly, so I ventured out.  It's really cold and a few miles inland, they have snow, our streets are clear though.  I forgot how tricky it was dressing for slippy footpaths and trying to stay warm.  Of course if I owned a pair of 'sensible' shoes it would help, but where's the fun in that!

Wearing: Teal lace dress Asda, black leggings and horse coat Primark, belt taken from another dress.
Fit: True to size, full length back zip and 4" heel.
Comfort: No issues with these.
