If I threw you a curveball last week with the (almost) flat Irregular Choice Booyah, then you'll feel much more at home with these high heels and big platforms. When I got these shoes last month, they immediately went onto my favourites list, I absolutely love them. They'd been on my radar, but I hadn't been keeping a close eye on them until the sales started. Luckily for me, the place that had them the cheapest and still in my size, made further reductions just days later, so there was no hesitation, I bought them right away. They were the last pair and have since gone in most sizes elsewhere, so I was very lucky. I actually own these on Stardoll and wear them a lot there, which was what made me look them up again. It always makes me weirdly satisfied when my virtual me and the real me own the same clothes!

Day 936 - Every Time You Call Him, All You Get's A Busy Tone

Shoes: Black 'Regent' Vivienne Westwood
I'm still resisting wearing a coat and wondered if I might be able to wear this jumper to keep me cosy, when I went shopping the other day. I'm definitely not a jumper or chunky knitwear wearing person, so it was important I found a way to make it work within my style. I definitely managed it with this outfit and was surprised at how well it worked actually. This dress is a favourite of mine and it's that strong, sexy silhouette that makes it so great. So I worried that taking that away or partly covering it up would take it from hot to frumpy. The jumper does disguise the fitted waist, but because I put a belt around it and the hips of the dress are exaggerated it seemed to work. The necklines both mirrored one another too, so the dress wasn't exposed and just looked like a skirt. I've lost a little weight recently, so the dress is roomy on me especially around the hip region, but I was really comfortable in this and would definitely try another variation of it some time. My toes were aching in these shoes though, they just went numb after a while!
Wearing: Floral wiggle dress and unicorn jumper ASOS, belt taken from another dress, vintage handbag, midi and emerald rings my Granny's, rabbit and pig rings Topshop, snake manicure ring New Look and snake pearl ring Miss Selfridge.
Fit: Snug fit, but I stuck to my usual size. Heel just under 4 1/2"
Comfort: Squished and numb toes after a while.

Day 814 - I Love You Like A Fat Kid Loves Cake
Shoes: Black 'Regent' Vivienne Westwood
I'm going to be banging on about Photobucket again today (sorry!), because I just know before I even preview this finished post, that's it's going to include different widths of photos yet again! I don't even want to look at the finished post to be honest. All my hard work wasted with a higglety pigglety post! So I figured out if the length of any image exceeds 1024p, which when it's not a perfectly square image it obviously would (!) then Photobucket resizes it. My full-length shots, even some of the shoe images when it involves any more than an ankle (!) simply cannot be cut to 1024 while still being 600p wide (unless I chop the head off, feet off etc which defeats the whole purpose). The old Photobucket was perfectly happy to keep images at 600p wide, up to lengths of at least 1200p (I always tried to remain within 'double the size of the width' or else I found it would crop the width). I thought the whole point of paying for a Pro account on that site was so I could upload images of any size (and let's face it a picture 600x1000 isn't exactly massive)! I'm at my wits end with it, but will just have to hope it's some sort of glitch they are fixing along with the million other things wrong with the size as emailing them (which I've done again today) doesn't get you anywhere. I dread to think the volume of complaints and lost custom/revenue they're experiencing, it must be crazy!
Wearing: Floral tea dress Pearl Lowe at Peacocks, pink 'The Colour Card' tights House of Holland.
Fit: Snug fit, but I stuck to my usual size. Heel just under 4 1/2"
Comfort: Arches will ache after a while.

Day 791 - Living Out A Bag, But She's Glad For The Little Things She Has
Shoes: Black 'Regent' Vivienne Westwood
Pretty much an all-black outfit today. I'm trying to wear my pretty tights more often, because I have sooo many of them (you know once I've said this out loud, I'll be back in leggings). I recently sorted them all out and threw out the ripped pairs and was left with just under 100 pairs. Ridiculous! The problem is, I usually feel uncomfortable in tights as I like a waistband to sit up around my waist and hate 'rolling' tights or those that slip down onto my hips. With the exception of my House of Holland pairs, I buy them mostly from Primark and their sizing can be all over the place; so often the largest size is still too small (but you don't know that until you get them home). Fishnets however are far more comfortable than regular tights in my opinion, as there's much more room for negotiation!

Day 762 - The Wind Has Blown And I Have Grown
Shoes: Black 'Regent' Vivienne Westwood
New dress and new shoes to show you today. Firstly the dress; the print is sooooo pretty, bright and cheerful, it's lovely. The dress is super lightweight too. It was slightly shorter than I wanted today, so I popped this little skirt on underneath. I seem to have lost all my black leggings to the washing basket/machine currently, aside from these, but they are stirrup ones (that sit halfway down your foot, with the hole for your heel) and miles too long. At first I was going to wear them the proper way, then after trying them with these shoes, I decided I'd just gather them up around my ankle instead. Finally onto the shoes. They are the softest, smoothest shoes I've ever felt, I just want to stroke them all over, all day long! They have a silver mirror sole and the arch of the instep is incredible; the curve on it inside is so severe-I'll have to take pics over the weekend to show you.
Wearing: Floral dress H by Henry Holland, black leggings, coat and frill skirt worn underneath all Primark, cardigan Bonmarche, belt taken from another dress.
Fit: Snug fit, but I stuck to my usual size. Heel just under 4 1/2"
Comfort: My arches ached a little, but this was my first wear.
