The Shoe Girl Styles It: Ashish x Topshop
I just had to pick these shoes to brighten up the weekend, especially as it snowed today (I know wth)! I couldn't help but get a little carried away with the fun elements and the result is a very colourful, textural outfit.
Starting with the platforms, which are Ashish for Topshop £120, just new in (until Tuesday there's free standard delivery on all orders to celebrate LFW). The platform is jewelled, the back is snakeskin and there's a multi-coloured feather strap across the toes. Yes, there's a lot going on, so they are pretty statementy all on their own. I could've paired them with a plain, toned down outfit, but that all seemed a bit too easy, so instead I opted for fun on fun with this Juicy Couture printed dress. The base is grey with a monochrome print on top and a bright floral design over that. So although it's colourful and highly patterned, there's a neutral base which seems to stop it clashing with anything else. Sadly the bag I had picked has since sold out, so I had to change it for one that isn't quite as perfect, but nevermind. I didn't want too many accessories, so just added this jewelled hairband by DSquared and an embossed leather bag from Versace. I couldn't resist the circus themed background as the shoes (and look) remind me of some sort of circus outfit and you have no idea how many times I added, then removed clowns! I didn't want to frighten or upset anyone! They were quite cute ones mind. Well as cute as a clown can get. Anyway, how do you like these shoes and this outfit?
Worn with: Juicy Couture 'Eloise' dress £165, Dsquared pink jewelled hairband £92 (sale) and Versace 'Medusa' shoulder bag £490.

Check out those feathered baubles- these are definitely happy shoes!!! The whole outfit is riotously fun. I am relieved there are no clowns though. I don't have clown phobia but I'm not keen!xx
ReplyDeleteThat is the perfect description! I'm the same, don't hate them, but in certain situations, they can be a bit creepy and sinister.
DeleteI'm sort of with Kezzie about the clowns, I even found my vintage clown brooch the other day and wasn't sure whether it might be time to get rid as I'm not a fan.
ReplyDeleteAh no : ( I have a spider ring and it does creep me out to wear it, even though it looks nothing like a real one!
DeleteBlimey, I'm not usually a fan of heels but I LOVE these!

Gorgeous aren't they? x
DeleteIt's great! I would wear it--and I would even like it with clowns in the background.
ReplyDeleteHaha, the only one for clowns!
