The Shoe Girl Styles It: L'Autre Chose

It's been a few weeks since I've picked a luxe edition of The Shoe Girl Styles It, but ermahgerd, this one is amazing! As I added each item to the set it just got better and better and was already great to begin with. Starting with the shoes, by L'Autre Chose (£169) which have this cool 70's vibe and would just go with anything. I would buy every single part of this outfit, especially the jewellery. Nach jewellery is probably my best/worst discovery yet, because I literally want everything they make and can't afford it all! I decided against 'matching' my animals and went for a fox, squirrel and bunny, plus the dress has a cat print (I know, it's just too perfect).  I love this outfit, what do you think?

The Shoe Girl Styles It: Irregular Choice Cherry Deer (Black)

Hello my lovelies, Friday already, phew! I thought I'd go for an Irregular Choice hat-trick this week and finish off by styling these Cherry Deer Bambi heels (£125). I think this is the first pair I own in real life that I've styled on TSGSI. My 'real' outfit would indeed be very similar. I may wear them with my floral wiggle dress, but my black dresses, especially with the crochet collars are most likely to be paired up with these shoes.  It will give the shoes the most impact!  Do you like this look?

The Shoe Girl Styles It: Irregular Choice Pinky Perky (Turquoise)

Today I'm styling the turquoise version of the Pinky Perky fish shoes by Irregular Choice (£80) that I featured in grey on Monday.  This dress is an absolute dream to style because there are so many colours in there, that you can pick out or clash with accessories. I literally could style it a hundred different ways, I just love it. A bit of a shocker that it's not covered in flowers, polka dots, animals or lace and I still like it! Anyway it threw up the bag dilemma and I thought it would be fun to gauge your opinion on it. Would you pick a turquoise tone close to your shoes to keep them slightly matchy, go for something more neutral like a dark tan or pick out another colour from the dress and clash with your shoes, with the navy one? All of them work (there's really no right or wrong answer here), but I think the clashing blue is maybe my favourite.

The Shoe Girl Styles It: Irregular Choice Pinky Perky (Grey)

Hello all. I'm aiming to be more regular with TSGSI this week, other things seem to have taken priority over the past couple of weeks and I'm a terrible perfectionist, which is a hindrance! If the handbag or shoes or colours or something isn't quite perfect (to me) in the outfit, I can't post it! So now I've got loads of half finished sets, that I'm unhappy with and so I decided to just start afresh this week with something completely different. There's been a definite turn in the weather, so you'll notice my outfits are likely to reflect that! The heating went on today, so it's official, "winter" is here! These shoes are new from Irregular Choice and also come in a gorgeous turquoise (which I'm hoping to style later). The fishy working it's way around your foot is super cool and the not too high heel (3 1/2") will please some. They're called Pinky Perky and are £80 with free delivery from Schuh. For my outfit, I kept the colours pretty much to red and black but the shapes and prints were very interesting. The cardigan features ladybirds, the skirt zombie pinup girls and the bag is in the shape of a perfume bottle. Fragrant, fish, zombie, insect. Not sure there's a link there, but what a fun outfit. The Shoe Girl Styles It: Quiz Lace Boots

Today I'm styling these Quiz lace ankle boots £24.99 (sale).  I wanted the look to be very fun and 'free', so opted for this gorgeous little dress.  Sugarhill Boutique love an animal print (unicorns for a/w btw!) and I just think this donkey one is perfect for summer.  The slogan makeup bag speaks the truth (!) and there's various makeup bits and bobs and little ankle socks to keep it cutesy.  FABulous shoes coming your way tomorrow in Shoesday Tuesday, so keep an eye out.  What do you think of this look today though?

The Shoe Girl Styles It: Irregular Choice Abigail's Party

Following on from the sandals yesterday, here's another pair of Irregular Choice to style. They are yet another instalment of the popular Abigail's Party/Iced Gem (£90) range with bronzey distressed uppers and a lovely gold lace overlay finished with a big satin bow. This particular version is just new in and exclusive to Schuh and I was going to choose these ones (which would also totally work with this outfit) but I'm getting quite excited for Autumn/Winter, so wanted to sneak in a new-season pair! Again it's reasonably matchy, which I didn't aim for, but the blue bag was the one that looked best in my opinion (it comes in several other shades). I love the floral lining inside it and I love the shape of those sunglasses. Do you like this look? How many Abigail's Party do you own...at last count I think I had four.

The Shoe Girl Styles It: Irregular Choice Pretty Pony

It occurred to me that in all these weeks, I've not styled a pair of Irregular Choice. I wonder if it's because I own so many myself, that I'm accustomed to styling them in real life and it's not a case of how I would wear them, but how I do wear them. So I made an effort to look for a style I didn't already own and came up with these lovely little sandals. They are called Pretty Pony £44.99 (sale) and if I wore flats, I'd totally buy these. I adore the wee unicorn on the front and the little pom pom and tassel trims. I changed the bag dozens of times for a contrasting colour, not wanting the outfit to be too matchy-matchy but always came back to this one.  I suppose the flash of yellow adds in a little bit of another colour.  It's on the pricey side, but I'm a sucker for a scenic bag! The dress (for once) looks a million times better on the model than the still life image here, so it's worth checking out. Do you like this easy summer look?
