Day 816 - Kick Down The Door And Turn It Up A Little More

Shoes: Black patent 'Lita' Jeffrey Campbell at Zalando

I had a little bit of a day-off yesterday.  My sister got the new Monster High DVD, so we watched the 'Skultimate Roller Maze' movie (don't ever watch these things unless you're prepared to buy all the dolls afterwards, because they look too cute to resist in the vid).  Then I happened to see an advert for the Julianne Moore film, The Forgotten which was on last night.  It looked quite good, so Mum and I watched it.  It kinda had a rubbish ending, hate when that happens! Anyway, I'm hopeless at switching off, so just thought about all the work I should have been doing, but it's been a very productive day today and I've got done what I intended, so it's all worked out.  I was feeling very 90's grunge on Friday (this outfit) and this new dress fit the bill (btw they have it in several colours and patterns).  It's not like the zipped shift dress, where it pulls you in, it's very flimsy (only cost a tenner), but I'd been wanting to try a midi bodycon dress for a while.  Not sure it was entirely flattering in some angles, but I felt good in it and it was comfortable, so I didn't really care.  I completely forgot how much I love an all-black outfit!

Wearing:  Black midi bodycon dress and spotty coat Primark, fishnet alphabetights House of Holland, wine belt Swan by Clements Ribeiro.
Fit: I'm a UK5/38 and these are a US8 and fit perfectly. Just under 5" heel and 1 3/4" platform.
Comfort: Didn't have any issues.

    1. They're definitely good for starting out in as the platform is quite high so that balances out the heel (you're technically only walking in a 3 1/4" heel) and your foot is quite flat in them. Also they have chunky heels, so it's good solid base for walking on. I love all my lita's ; )
