The Shoe Girl Styles It: Buffalo Snakeskin Court

Buffalo blue snakeskin court shoe
Oh phew, a much calmer day today and a non-stressy outfit after yesterday! This one came together much quicker, though I pretty much worked from items I had in my saved list. Remember Buffalo shoes in the nineties?
If you don't, it'll be because you referred to them as "Spice Girl trainers"! Yep those vertigo inducing, clompy platforms worn by Scary, Baby and Ginger. I can remember drooling over them in a shop window in Germany one night as a teenager (I was Spice Girl OBSESSED). The shop was closed and the place wasn't somewhere we frequented during the day (painting a very dodgy image there-it was entirely innocent I assure you)! They were far beyond my price range anyway, so I never got them, though did get some cheap lookalikes back home! The brand is still going strong today and with far more to offer than those chunky platforms (well they probably always did do more, but nobody was interested). These snakeskin court shoes £65 are much sleeker and perhaps less fun, if 90's nostalgia is your thing! I've paired them with this stunning A-line skirt from Topshop. There was me saying they rarely do skirt styles like this and two come along at once. With print in the skirt and shoes, I kept the top plain and added a statement necklace (BooHoo are just the best for big, statement necklaces) and a jewelled belt. Simple, but rather nice. What do you think? Did you own or want a pair of Buffalo? The Shoe Girl Styles It: Buffalo Snakeskin Court
