Shoes: Gold glitter 'Leila' Carvela

Hola peeps, sorry for the later than usual post.  I've been elbow deep in a few 'behind the scenes' blog changes this week.  HTML and fun sugar like that.  You realise the whole day has passed by and you've not much to show for it (but a sore head).  I have adopted a slightly different approach to my posts, you'll note the 'continue reading' jump.  Like so.

Hola! Brrrr, it's chilly today, so dark too, like it's just about to snow, but it's not happened yet. Today I'm styling these Charlotte Olympia 'Octavia' platforms, which if you're a size 6 or 7, can luckily get for £375 at Yoox (priced £695 elsewhere). I just had to find suitable outfit for this dress, because it's so cute! I utterly adore the flamingo print and I really like the style of the dress too with the reverse coloured print details and double layer collar. I added a splash of colour with this patent mustard bag (looove shiny bags) from Moschino Cheap & Chic...oh my gosh that reminds me. I was so naughty yesterday and bought a Love Moschino clutch I'd been lusting after all season. Ok, should I admit it was actually 3 clutches? Jeez, I know, right before Christmas, but they had 40% off, so technically I got one entirely free and still saved money on the others.  There was another print I liked, but wasn't so keen on the bag shape, but I thought I'd check if it was still there today and maybe get it too, but it's gone. Oh well it wasn't meant to be.  I had my eye on the size I really liked elsewhere but it's sold out too.  Must stop this bag obsession, it's becoming worse than shoes!  Do you like this outfit today?  Tell me you've been naughty and bought something for yourself this week too?

The Shoe Girl Styles It: Topshop Wowzer (Pewter)

I planned this post with the beautiful pale pink version of these wedges, but in the end I liked the pewter with this outfit better. They also come in black, if you want to throw another into the mix! They are Wowzer £65, no really that's their name, with a 5" wedge heel. I teamed them with this stunning pencil skirt from Coast, I just adore that tree print and a plain bardot style top from Miss Selfridge. I added a little furry stole (actually not that little when you see it on the model) and this fun, fluffball bag at Urban Outfitters. I didn't add tights this time, but they would totally work too. Do you like this look?

The Shoe Girl Styles It: Office Sophistication (Gold)

Remember the gorgeous burgundy courts I styled last week? Well I loved them so much, I thought I'd style the gold version too. They are Office 'Sophistication' £68 with a 4 1/2" heel and mesh detail front. I just had to put them with this Miss Selfridge top, they are perfect partners, like they were made for each other. There is a skirt in the same print but I thought that sounded a little 'easy', so instead I opted for this midnight blue one by Coast. I don't think I've ever put bronze with blue before, but the shape of the skirt was exactly what I was looking for and I think the colour combination, though unusual, works. The bag brings it all together with all of the outfit colours; blue, gold, black and white. A very cute party outfit methinks. Do you like it?
