Day 1001 - Shoesday Tuesday

Wearing Irregular Choice Glissade
Shoes: Green metallic 'Glissade' Irregular Choice

I was torn with whether to end on a high with my 1000th post or continue until I ran out of shoes (which could be very soon). I never expected (10 months on) to still be incapable of getting dressed and posting regular outfits, but unfortunately that's the way it is just now. I really genuinely miss getting dressed up and more so, posting the photos here. I know it's not the same for you as it used to be and perhaps it's a little boring for new readers as it's natural to want to see more of a person than just the feet, but I just have to carry on doing what I am capable of for now.
I do have a few unseen pairs I can't reach without causing a major landslide, so they'll have to wait, but I have bought a few new pairs that will keep me going. It's funny how difficult I find twisting into position and getting that perfect shot now. I suppose over time I've become rusty, so I've been trying to photograph in 'lots' when I'm feeling a little more energetic. These, you'll have probably seen on my other blog (complete with video, so it's worth checking out), but here they are on the feet. I mentioned the sizing in that original post and I'm really glad I sized up because I feel they just fit as it is. They're also really quite weighty, so I think that could affect the way you walk until you become accustomed to them. They don't feel overly fragile to me though, but I think I'll be quite cautious wearing them at first.  Do you like them?

Fit: 5 1/2" wedge heel with 1 1/2" platform. Small fitting, I took a whole size up and they just felt snug.
Comfort: The wedge heel and mechanics are quite weighty, so I think this could slow you down a bit when walking. Irregular Choice Glissade Wearing Irregular Choice Glissade Ballerina Heels

  1. Not sure I could cope with heavy shoes! I find wellies hard enough to cope with! These ARE so pretty though- the pearly turquoise sheen. Do you know, I looked at the gold star bunny shoes from IC and I ADORE the turquoise sequins pair but that horrid ugly Oscar looking bunny in the heel really disagrees with me and ruins nice shoes! Your flopsies are much nicer with real coloured bunny.
I Do miss your outfit posts but in no way do I get bored with what you write. You have a great narrative style and I still love ogling the shoes!

    1. Thankfully because they are lace-up, they don't slip off your foot, but they are rather heavy. Heehee, well I wasn't convinced I'd like a gold metallic bunny either....I'm not big on gold and I thought they might look a bit tacky, but they made it work. I still love my original bunnies too : ) Oh thank you, I just wonder if there's not much to see that people might get bored and mostly the posts are non-real-photo ones which isn't much of a draw, but I love this blog and want to keep it going, so it's the only way I can get it to work.
