Day 961 - I Leave My Heart Open But It Stays Right Here Empty For Days

Shoes: 'Dreamy' Santa heels Irregular Choice

Here is the evening outfit from Sunday, you can see my 'day look' here. I just realised other than on my Facebook page, I haven't really mentioned why I was in Glasgow in the first place. My sister got us tickets to see....5ive! Haha, we were big fans back in the day (and still are I suppose) and we had a meet and greet thing beforehand, so it was all good. I didn't update my makeup much, just freshened it up really. My sister had some sparkly stuff that I borrowed and little did I know that the cute wee puff contained soooo much glitter. I was careful too, but one puff and I was looking like the tin-man. Pretty sure they could see me shining from the moon! So apologies if my chest is overloaded with glitter-I think I managed to edit the majority of it out. This dress was a last minute decision. It doesn't crush easily and was fairly compact to take with me and I always feel comfortable in it. I decided on some star fishnets, working that Christmas theme with my Santa heels too. I was worried with tights on, that the shoes would feel a little big, but I definitely made the right decision to size up in them. I thought because they don't have a strap like my gnomes, that they'd perhaps slip off my heel when walking, but I had no issues with them.

Wearing: Gold star dress Pearl Lowe (Peacocks), cardigan Red Herring at Debenhams, star tights Primark, elephant belt ASOS, horse brooch gift, earrings Mawi, fox ring Evans, snake manicure ring New Look, midi ring my Grannys, rainbow horse ring The Jewellery Box.
Fit: Small fitting, so I opted for the size up. 4 1/2" heel and small concealed platform.
Comfort: The lining of the shoes is a little scratchy after a long period, but no real issues with them.

  1. The shoes and nail polish are to die for! What's the nail polish, if you don't mind sharing? x

    1. Thank you. Yes no problem, it's Barry M 150 Red Glitter over Bourjois 1 Seconde #7 Rouge Cerise. I think the red glitter one would probably be decent enough without a coating underneath, but I've never tried it that way. If I recall, it's a plaster to remove, but very pretty to look at!
