Day 966 - Now's Your Moment, Floating In A Blue Lagoon

Shoes: Red 'Time For Teddy' Irregular Choice

There was a while a couple of months ago where I wasn't sure if my lipstick challenge would make it to 100 weeks or my outfits here would reach 1000 posts first. I've been a bit sporadic with getting dressed and posting here lately, so it's my weekly challenge that has reached it's goal first. Still another month or so before Day 1000, so it'll definitely be 2014. Scary stuff! Here's one of the little mermaid tanks I bought ages ago but haven't worn yet. The 'Kiss The Girl' scene which happens to be one of my favourite moments in the film (although I could kick those damn eels for ruining it)! I'm old enough to remember Peter Andre singing this the first time round (my friend and I pressed rewind on the VHS to watch his quivering lip far too many times) and now it's like it never happened, as with every new DVD release comes some hip, Disney teeny bopper trying to 'rock out' to some strange version of Kiss The Girl. I've never been too fussed on Peter Andre, but his version will always be my favourite.

Wearing: Ariel Little Mermaid tank Hot Topic, black brocade pencil skirt, grey tights and polka dot coat Primark, cardigan Red Herring at Debenhams.
Fit: True to size, teddy attaches with studs and is removed here. 3 1/4" heel (as low as I dare go!)
Comfort: Quite a 'hard' shoe, but no specific issues with them.

    1. Aren't the tights so cosy?! Yessss, at least on the UK video release. His accompanying music video was very simple and he wore a suit-sooo far removed from the topless type vids that he was doing at the time!

  2. Those tights are pretty and I like your tank top too but those shoes really steal the show. My goodness, they are lovely!!! I really like the heel detailing and that print on the upper is GORGEOUS! Swoon*

    1. I too love the vintage toys print. The teddy on the back fastens with two studs and can be removed which is handy if you fancy things a little more simple.

  3. I have these shoes and I don't think I've ever ever worn them! :( Must rectify that!
