Day 960 - I Spend Her Love Until She's Broke Inside

Shoes: 'Dreamy' Santa heels Irregular Choice

So on Sunday, my l'il sis and I set sail for Glasgow. Well, not in a boat obviously! I was carrying my own luggage, so packing light! It was only one overnight, so how much crap do you really need for that, you know? I do have three outfits for you to see, which I've split into separate posts. My shoes yet again proved popular, I'm not sure if they were as talked about as my gnome heels when I hit Edinburgh. Perhaps I was just accustomed to the stares after that day! I wasn't even out of town though and one man came up and thanked me for wearing them as they were the first Christmassy thing he'd seen that actually got him excited for the big day (and this guy struck me as a bit of a Scrooge type)! Everyone knew they were Santa, nobody mistook him for a gnome or something else, so that was good. It wasn't all positive though, one large group of immature girls (and a boy) laughed very loudly and pointed (er hello, I'm right next to you and not deaf or blind, I can see and hear you making fun of me) and I got an "Oh my God, look at that girls shoes" definitely not said in a pleasant way. They shut up quick when I evil eyed them and I'll be the one laughing on Christmas day when Santa brings them NOTHING for poking fun at him and being so rude! I'd kinda like to know how many people snuck a photo of my shoes throughout the weekend...I was very aware of it at times. Not sure how that makes me feel, that random people have photos of my feet on their phone....slightly creepy. Anyway check back tomorrow for my 'evening' outfit.

Wearing: Green patterned dress and black leggings Primark, cardigan Red Herring at Debenhams, fox ring Evans, stag ring Primark, midi ring my Grannys, elephant belt ASOS, nude quilted bag Love Moschino.
Fit:  Small fitting, so I opted for the size up.  4 1/2" heel.
Comfort:  The lining of the shoes is a little scratchy after a long period, but no real issues with them.

  1. I guess that they are very obviously Santa and not quite as gnome as I'd thought. I always think it's quite funny when I spot someone taking a photo of my outfits and one of the Brownie leaders i'd see when i arrived at Guides used to ask if she could take a photo of my shoes every week!

    1. Haha, it's strange isn't it! Yeah I expected someone to mistake them for something other than Santa.

  2. Love your shoes, love your outfit (nice rings too) and LOVE your new hair!!! Oh and people suck! I know all about people taking photos without asking because of Dracul the pig. It gets so annoying and is beyond rude AND creepy.

  3. Lovely look and those shoes are so cute! What a shame some rude people have to poke fun at other peoples fabulous style. I hope you had a great time anyway, you looked fab!

    1. I did thank you. Yeah people suck-just let others be who they want to be without ridiculing them for it.
