Day 688 - It's Always Darkest Before The Dawn

Shoes: Black strappy jelly sandals Jean Paul Gaultier & Melissa

It's poured with rain all day and all last night, so I didn't bother to venture out.  This is the post I didn't manage to get up yesterday though.  Yet another new dress I have to admit to!  I love high-low hems and this one isn't so much of a gradual dip as a big step and I like that.  It's only a size 16 though, so I don't think it's fitting quite how it should under the bust, although it's not tight anywhere.  It was the largest size they had and I loved the shape of the hem so much I bought it anyway.  I noticed they had leopard print versions last week, but again only in smaller sizes, so I'll have to keep my eye out for it.  I think last time I wore these shoes, I said I loved them and would wear them lots throughout 'summer', well they annoyed the hell out of me yesterday.  They were uncomfortable, pushed my toes forward and the straps were digging in-I was getting fair angry with them.  On my walk, I kept stopping to try and get my toes back in, then gave up and let them hurt!

Wearing:  Floral dip hem dress and leggings Primark, cardigan Matalan, hair scarf M&Co.
Fit: Run a little small, definitely a smaller/tighter fit than Vivienne Westwood/Melissa shoes. Adjustable buckle fastening. Heel 4 1/4".
Comfort: See above.
