Day Four Hundred & Sixty Two - Animal Fever

Busy day today, returning stuff to Primark (yet came home with the same bag filled with swapsies!). Decided to be brave and 'walk it' seeing as my Mum still can't handle the wheelchair with her bad arm. I managed but I'm sore and I've come to the conclusion that all shoes hurt my feet when I have to do more than my usual 2 minute walk! It didn't help that it was pretty warm and my feet swelled in the heat. I live in leggings as you know, but got my pins out today, as the length of this dress works better with bare legs or tights. I love this dress and wish it would come out in loads of colours and maybe even with sleeves for winter (there are so many replica dresses like this in 'skinny' shops, but I haven't found any that would fit me). Final notes; I apologize for the bad nail polish (fingers and toes), I just can't be arsed doing it just now (oops) and I have no idea why I'm making an odd face in that photo, oh and the mirror image was taken in the shoe dept. in Topshop-I got bored and thought it looked cool (like my butterfly covered walking stick?). The ring photos were when we stopped for a mug of tea and rocky-road in Starbucks! Sorry no pics of that!

Wearing: Ok, let me get all the details here right. Coral lace dress George at Asda, black bow cardi New Look, snake bangle, sunglasses, belt (taken from a dress) all Primark, parakeet and frog rings Miss Selfridge, swallow clutch bag River Island, horse pendant Claire's.
Fit: True to size, tie front, 4 1/2" heel.
Comfort: Generally pretty comfortable and easy for me to walk in although after a few hours they start to rub.

Day Three Hundred & Thirty Four - Spray Paint

Sorry for the pause in posting-I took so many fabulous pics of these shoes on Thursday that I couldn't decide which image to use. I'll put the others up on my facebook page next week.
Wearing: Stiff graffiti print dress Be Beau at Matalan and black leggings.
Fit: True to size, 5 1/2" heel and 1 1/2" platform.
Comfort: I love feeling all enclosed in these shoes and they are very comfortable, although one shoe rubbed my heel unfortunately.

Day Three Hundred & Seven - Perk Up

Shoes: Bronze 'Lacey' lace-up platforms Faith

Loving this last little burst of summer weather we're getting today. August has been very disappointing and this past week has been especially cold and dark. I'm trying to get as much wear out of this dress before it completely turns to autumn; because it's so light, it's not the type of dress that will translate well in colder weather. I've also put up more pictures of todays gorgeous shoes on my facebook page!
Wearing: Parrot maxi dress G21 at Asda, black cardi and River Island necklace.
Fit: True to size, 5 1/2" heel with 1 1/2" double platform.
Comfort: They aren't too difficult to get on, but it takes a while to get them off! I thought they were comfortable until I realised in the 5 minutes I had them on, they rubbed the skin off the back of my leg-ouch! I think it's because in order to get them looking right from the front, you have to tie them quite tightly and then it's a struggle to bend your ankles when tackling stairs. Other than that, they have a nice cushioned insole and are easy to walk in.

Day Eighteen - On the Run

Sorry it's a bit of a rushed pic today. I had a fabulous time shopping, well apart from the overcrowded bus, slow old peeps and crazy, running schoolkids! Really needed to get out of the house after my sis and I were overrun with 12 moths in our bathroom last night, how gross is that?
