Day 1007 - Shoesday Tuesday

Wearing Irregular Choice Dreamy Santa Heels
Shoes: 'Dreamy' Santa heels Irregular Choice

Something a little bit different today, an outfit post!  I know it's been too long.  I go to physio, maybe every 3 weeks or so now, so I know it's not as exciting as the old outfits, but I figured I might as well show you what I wear.
I spoke here about feeling like I was having to change myself to adapt or fit in with my lifestyle now, which I was unhappy about.  Though as far as gym gear goes, I think I'm still keeping it pretty 'me'!  I wanted to wear my Santa heels because I knew it would be the only time this year that I'd have the opportunity to.  A big change from last year, when I wore them almost solidly throughout December!  Anyway, it was freezing and the exposed skin was numb, bordering on frostbite I think, so boots would've been more convenient and comfortable, but hey ho.  We managed to time it, just so we were caught in sleet, both going and coming back, when it didn't rain or snow for the rest of the day.  Typical! You can even see some drops of snow sitting on the gold toes in the photos!  Outfit wise, I just adore this top.  It's got a low, dipped hem back which is sheer (it comes with a really long vest underneath), which hangs beautifully (though it's really difficult to take a photo of your own back in a mirror)!  I love that the jersey sleeves are really skinny, because often if it fits elsewhere the sleeves drown me.  The front panel has a sheen to it, it's not, but it feels and hangs like silk.  Any 'speckles' in the outfit shots by the way are on the mirror, not on me! The trousers feature a beautiful watercolour floral print and the length is pretty good on me.  I wanted ankle grazers, but given that they looked like that on the model (who was obviously taller than me), I thought they'd end up being too long.  They do fall down a bit (elasticated back, flat front waistband), which I think is just down to the material (was very easy to shimmy over on the bed in the gym though)!  So, the shoes went down a treat, they actually phoned another member of staff who was on alert to come and see 'the lady with the shoes'.  So perhaps I haven't changed that much after all!  Are you happy to see a little more than shoes for once?  Shall I keep posting my physio outfits every few weeks?  Let me know.

Wearing:  Live Unlimited drop hem top and floral trousers (or here).
Fit:  4 1/2" heel. I opted for the size up, which are a tiny bit large on me.
Comfort:  The lining of the shoes is a little scratchy after a long period, but no real issues with them.Wearing Live Unlimited drop hem top and floral trousers Wearing Live Unlimited drop hem top back Live Unlimited floral trouser print Wearing Irregular Choice Dreamy Santa Shoes Side Wearing Irregular Choice Dreamy Santa Heels Back
