Day 973 - It's A Marshmallow World In The Winter

Shoes: Black patent heart peep toe Moschino Cheap & Chic

A bit light on photos for this post (little time and too dark), so you can probably better see this dress in the product photos here. The seam under the bust really accentuates my boobs, which I don't need (!) and while I love those details at the waist, it also seems to emphasise my tummy, however I still really like the dress, even if it's not one I wear often. That's usually because my hair clashes with it and yesterday I'll admit the purple kinda did, but hey-ho. I was mid-way through getting ready and Mum shouted up to tell me my sister and her family were popping in, so I threw these shoes on and they hadn't been either of the two pairs I'd planned on teaming with this dress.  The red heart is much brighter than the red of the dress, so I wasn't 100% happy with my choice.  It sounds like I hated it all, but honestly I didn't!  I loved my makeup and I piled my hair up, just trying to do something a little different with it!  My youngest nephew was in an absolute foul mood-never seen him so bad (think staying up until 2am on Hogmanay had a lot to do with it).  At one point I couldn't help but laugh when he threw himself to the ground and did a textbook toddler strop banging his legs and fists on the ground!  Twenty minutes later he was flashing his dimple and charming everyone like usual, phew! We're babysitting all three tomorrow, so they better be on their best behaviour!

Wearing:  Red lace dress Pearl Lowe (Peacocks), black tights and pearl bow Primark, black clip on earrings Mawi.
Fit: 4 1/4" heel, a little generous in the heel.
Comfort: No issues with these and easy to walk in.
