I like to wear shoes that are easy to take off when going clothes shopping and these zip up boots fit the bill. It turned out that I needn't have bothered yesterday though as the shoes in Primark and New Look were seriously disappointing. There were hundreds upon hundreds of styles in the latter, but nothing that caught my eye. Primark on the otherhand appear to never get new stock in the footwear department, it's been the same tired styles for at least 6 months.
I did get a cute little blue tea-dress though, which I didn't bother to try on as it's the same style as one I bought the other week. I also popped into Boots to pick up some of those new Maybelline lipsticks which look really gorgeous (and are currently on 3 for 2).

Day Forty Three - Bus Convo Is Classic
A little switcheroo with the shoes today. I've tried uploading the pics I took before leaving this morning, but after 3 unsuccessful attempts gave up. So it's another pair from the for-sale pile today. Only on the bus can you overhear such hilarious, random and stupid conversations as this.
An older tourist couple get on in St Andrews (you'll maybe only see the sense of humour (and accent) if you're from these parts) and sit behind this chav-ned guy who's as rough as. He then turns around to speak to the American lady and the conversation goes like this;
Chav: Where are ye fae? Are ye fae America?
American lady: Yes, Georgia USA, where are you from?
C: E'm fae Dundee eh. D'ye hae a gun in yer hoose?
AL: Sorry?
C: A gun, d'ye hae a gun?
AL: Pardon?
C: A pistol, a gun?
AL: Oh no, we don't
C: A'right, 'a right to bear firearms' an all eh
AL: Do you own a gun?
C: Ah havnae got a licence for a rifle yet....have ye always lived in America?
by which point my Mum and I are about on the floor with laughter. Honestly who asks 'where are you from' and follows up with 'do you have a gun'? Total pyscho! The poor couple didn't have a clue what he was saying (even I was struggling). Oh dear, it kinda made my day in an odd way!

Day Forty Two - Grey Area
Another shoe that I tried on last week, an unworn pair actually. Really pretty and flattering shape, but I don't *need* them, so they are added to the 'for sale' pile. Got my new Poste Mistress boots from the online Office sale today. Lots of bargains to be had there-so definitely check it out, that's if you can get past the stunning new styles for A/W! Going in search of the achingly cool thigh high H&M boots tomorrow (that I saw on the lovely Style of a Fashionista and Shoewawa), have serious doubts that they'll be sold outside of London though, which sucks!

Day Forty One - Riding High
Completely forgot that I hadn't posted this yet and tried last night, but blogger was playing up and wouldn't let me save or publish it. I wear these wedges without the skinny ankle strap, they have a very nautical feel to them.

Day Forty - Boot Camp
Yay it's Boot-Camp tonight and tomorrow on X Factor. I haven't enjoyed the series as much this time (definitely not a fan of the format change), but I'm hoping it'll improve with this round. I'll be glued regardless! Wearing shoes I've had for a good few years now.ASOS grey patent sandals with cage detail and perspex trim.

Day Thirty Nine - The Pink T
I've been really busy internet-shopping today, lots of fun products to look forward to arriving through my door next week. I seem to have had a massive run of birthdays, weddings etc to buy presents for lately, so it's nice to treat myself to something. Another pic taken last week I'm afraid, although new to you nonetheless.

Day Thirty Eight - Organise It
I'm really sore today after re-organising my wardrobe last night. My Mum is on a massive cleaning spree and it's rubbed off on me. I had a box filled with hangers, so went through my rails and swapped the old ones for new ones. I've also been struggling to gain access to my converted Irregular Choice shoe wardrobe, so was trying to remedy that too. I'm coming to the realisation that I have way too much stuff and not enough storage space, but will it stop me buying? I doubt it!
So today I'm not even getting properly dressed, you instead get an image I took last week, before giving these shoes away. I actually bought them several years ago to wear as bridesmaid at my sisters wedding. We wore black dresses, very controversial-although not so much nowadays. The shoes have diamantes surrounding the heel at the back. Black corsage sandals with diamante heel New Look

Day Thirty Seven - Wing It
Here are yesterdays shoes, beautiful soft, grey suede with winged detail on the side and cut-out back. I wore a navy pinstripe dress and these leggings which I picked up in Primark last week for under £3, fantastic! I had to go a size up in these shoes; when I zipped up the cuff on the smaller pair it was stopping the blood circulaton! They are American sized anyway and it's always a bit iffy if a US7 or US7.5 is a UK5, so these are the US8 and definitely fit better.Shoes Kata by J-Lo

Day Thirty Six - Dance With Me
A late post today and not actually the shoes I'm wearing. I had a doctors appointment and did manage to take pics before I left, but haven't had the chance to upload them yet. The shoes today 'bit the dust' recently and have hopefully now gone to another home. I used to wear these shoes a lot...they kinda have a vintage-y, 'Come Dancing' feel to them. The tights are gorgeous, a present from my Mum. Green suede shoes with gold detailing New Look, brown floral tights gift.

Day Thirty Five - Black and Pink
I shouldn't have used that as the title of this post as I'm now singing that really irritating 'Black & Gold' song by that bloke with the big, geek glasses. He's Australian I think, anyway he totally creeps me out in that video, crawling out and into the boot of the car, euch! Anyway, had a good shopping day today. I was actually taking back a few returns and ended up getting the shoes I've been after for some time (long story for another day!).Wearing my gorgeous pink House of Holland colour card tights, which don't photograph well-although the photo was very rushed before I left this morning and ASOS premium black suede shoes. I love the shape of these, they have a really rounded toe and are high up at the back with a folded over patent section which buckles at the front through two gold rings, cute and comfy!

Day Thirty Four - Check It
I'm absolutely freezing today and in a foul mood after arguments with both my Mum and sister yesterday. They've left me alone in the house today, so I'm getting further depressed listening to ballads by Leona Lewis, Kelly Clarkson and Jordin Sparks, eating comfort food and checking to see if it rains-so I can run out and bring in my Mums washing (I'm still useful for something it seems).Wearing pink gingham court shoes with cute bow on the front and pink heel. These got tossed to the charity shop this week, I actually forgot I still owned them and haven't worn them in years.

Day Thirty Three - So Yesterday
As promised here are yesterdays shoes. I wore a grey dress, huge, chunky, navy cardigan and these fabulous blue and pink booties. Quite possibly the most comfortable Irregular Choice style I own and definitely one of my favourites. Abigails Party boots by Irregular Choice

Day Thirty-Two - In the Wrong Shoes
I got a call today to say my new glasses were ready to collect, that's quick! They are mega cute, which makes a change, as I usually don't like the pair I chose once I go to collect them! Anyway, I wore adorable shoes, but my camera battery died, so you'll have to make-do with these for now and you'll get todays shoes tomorrow! Make sense? So I'm not wearing New Look grey and black check shoe-boots with House of Holland pink colour card tights.

Day Thirty One - Ouch!
Oooh, I'm really sore after my outing to the opticians yesterday. I also managed a massive clear-out last night. I put together two huge bags containing about 20 pairs of shoes, 5 dresses and half of the tops/vests I own, for charity. It felt good to get rid of so many things that I never use anymore. Although I can't say it's made much of an impression on my messy room!Another Irregular Choice pair today, spotty t-bar sandals-the fabric is ruched over the uppers and heel which you can't really see in the image.

Day Thirty - Can I See?
I took a trip to the the optician today. It's been 2 years since my last check-up. It turns out my prescription has only changed very slightly, but I wanted new frames regardless! It was a hard decision actually as they all looked really nice, the assistant said I looked like a walking spectacles advert! My Mum decided I either looked like Dame Edna or a sexy secretary who would toss her glasses off, let down her hair and rip her blouse open! We had lots of fun trying on different styles and it ended up being between a black Givenchy pair with the logo on the legs in diamante or another black pair with circular holes in the legs and a black and white striped inside. I ended up choosing the latter...I really wanted the Givenchy but more because they match my lipstick. I was forced to admit that the other pair did look better and as a bonus they were half the price of the Givenchy (quite an unjustifiable expense just to match your lippie)!Another gorgeous day today, I'm loving the surprisingly warm weather. Day Twenty Nine - Surprise Sun
I thought summer was officially over, but I was surprised with a lovely sunny, warm day today. So I grabbed a pair of weather-suitable shoes, trying to get as much wear as possible before it's dark, wet and cold!Pale pink and black trim patent peep-toes ASOS

Day Twenty Eight - I'm Back!
I'm back! I've really missed blogging over the past month and although my Pink Haired Princess blog is still AWOL, The Shoe Girl Diaries is back. I was a little hesitant to continue with blogger seeing as the help/support over the past month has been pretty much non-existent. I'm still waiting for them to inform me that my blog has been deleted, nevermind actually fixing it! I'm going to give it another couple of weeks and if nothing happens, I'll have to start all over again with a new blog. That means I lose all the content on the previous one, which totally sucks.
Anyway on with todays shoes. I'm attempting a massive clear-out this week. The majority of shoes I'm going to sell on ebay, which requires photographing and taking details of (which takes a lot of time). The others are going to a charity shop or the bin. Over the past month without you, I have made a few more shoes purchases and there is no room for them, so needs must. I've been rediscovering the odd hidden gem but most pairs I've loved and am happy to see them go to another home. One such pair are these. I never wear them anymore, so to ebay they go! Ignore the strap marks on my feet in this post, it's from trying on several pairs of shoes today.
