The Shoe Girl Styles It: Easter Special

Topshop white Rebecca sandals
By way of an apology for my non existent blogging this week, I have a bumper edition of TSGSI. Whoop! I've been terribly down in the dumps recently, which really isn't like me. Blogging and interacting with people was the last thing I felt like doing, so I took the time and shut myself off for a few days. My nephews were staying overnight this weekend, so it was all Batman, Lego and Cluedo and today I was glad to be scoping out high heels and fancy dresses! All my outfits are loosely Easter themed, pretty florals and pastels and the like. In order not to confuse things, I'll do one at a time.
Starting with these Topshop 'Rebecca' heels £49. Last season saw the same style (called "Rabbit") and they've been so popular they've continued with them for Spring in new colours. These are white and for the outfit I also looked to another old favourite, the Topshop grid skirt. Remember I styled it in grey last year? Well this is a blue version and I paired it with this Dorothy Perkins bunny T, because...well it's EASTER! Bunnies! I quite like the contrast with the horizontal stripes and grid print. I added a silly but brilliant, bunny hairband from Claire's along with this adorable fluffy phone sleeve and a pink glitter handbag. What do you think of this outfit? The Shoe Girl Styles It: Topshop Rebecca
Worn with: Dorothy Perkins novelty bunny t-shirt £14, Topshop grid midi skirt £55, Pink glitter handbag £14.99, Claire's bunny headband £5 and plush bunny phone sock £4.50. Irregular Choice Mrs Lower
My second pair of shoes, are Irregular Choice 'Mrs Lower' £90. Which are actually considered part of the IC bridal collection, but as with all of that range, they work beyond weddings. I was aiming for a lovely summery day, perfect for a picnic in this stunning Dickins & Jones 50's style floral dress. All that was needed was a straw hat and basket bag, oh and a cute, fluffy bunny to pop inside and keep with our theme! What do you think of this one?The Shoe Girl Styles It: Irregular Choice Mrs Lower
Worn with: Dickins & Jones sunflower dress £59, Tantra straw and white lace bag £34, Claire's floppy bow hat £20 and Ty Beanie Babies 'Creampuff The Bunny' £7. ASOS pink Himalayas platforms
My final look is a little more casual with these pale pink ASOS 'Himalayas' sandals £38. I actually love the heart print version of these platforms even more, but pastel was required for this look. There's a rule (that I fabricated two minutes ago) that you can't wear black at Easter.  This rainbow furry cape will keep you cosy if you weren't experiencing (20!!) the warm temperatures we were today. Slipped underneath are some pale wash jeans (under a tenner btw!) and this vintage Care Bears t-shirt from Mr Gugu & Miss Go. I finished the look with some glitter bunny glasses. How much fun could you have in this outfit? The Shoe Girl Styles It: ASOS Himalayas
Worn with: ASOS faux fur rainbow cape £65, Mr Gugu & Miss Go vintage Care Bears t-shirt £24.99, Select light wash Beth skinny jeans £9.99 and Claire's glitter bunny glasses £6.

I hope you've had a good time over Easter, whether you were off work or not.  I'm sorry for the lack of posts this week and apologies for the late posting tonight. Hopefully normal service resumed next week. I had loads of fun making these outfits, so I hope you enjoyed them too.

  2. It does happen sometimes, that we need some time and simply can't think of blogging. I guess it has happened to many of us :) But welcome back! So good that tour nephews were there! I love children! I love the way you style shoes :) I loved the first skirt and sweet pink bag and the shoes are so lovely! Irregular Choice is great, and the bag matches it well! I loved the color of the third sandals! I hope you have a very nice week!

  3. I love bunnies and everything cute so you know I love these outfits! The first shoes remind me of the ones Carrie wore in Sex and the City (I think it was the episode where she was short on money and was telling this guy that she is addicted to shoes? And then he left her money). I love the grid skirt (I am so loving longer skirts recently) and the shirt is so cute too. The first outfit is my fave
