The Shoe Girl Styles It: Miss L Fire Cherry Pop
I'm just having so much fun styling the new Miss L Fire shoes for you this week. I've felt very inspired and have managed to come up with three varying looks so far. I've decided to continue tomorrow, which is usually reserved for my 'luxe' edition of TSGSI, with another Miss L Fire style (it's a goodie). I thought it might be interesting to see how they mix them with a higher end look. You can click to see my previous posts; the pink Flamingo A Gogo and Bluebird and read on for details of the pair used today.
They are a similar style to the flamingo pair, the black Cherry Pop £65 (sizes 3-7) and this season they've been released in a whole heap of new, glittering colours. Seeing as I've picked shorts and a full skirted dress so far, I went for a pencil skirt this time and amped up the rockabilly vibe. It's a gingham one from Topshop, teamed with a Dorothy Perkins red cardi and ASOS sharp cateye sunglasses. I'd add a scarf in the hair, they have tonnes at Claire's, which I didn't add to the set (because it looked messy and I ran out of room), from traditional bandana style prints to floral, polka dots and lace. Initially I added some cherry earrings, then I saw this burger cuff and decided it was time to ditch the fruity theme and go with that! It was just too kitsch and too fabulous to leave out, plus it totally brings the whole look together. Then I realised it wasn't a cuff, it was a ring. Bummer! It's still cute, but would've been significantly cooler in bangle form! Someone needs to make that happen ; ) What do you think of this look?
Worn with: Dorothy Perkins Petite red cotton cardigan £16, Topshop monochrome gingham tube skirt £24, ASOS flat top cat eye sunglasses £12 and Claire's Katy Perry stackable burger ring £7.

Ha, it is YOUR fault that I went to Schuh yesterday in order to try on the Miss L Fire lovebird sandals! Sadly, they only had a UK 7 and I am a UK 8 (and a true 42, not the 41 that Schuh tries to convince you is an 80 IT's NOT, it's a SEVEN AND A HALF!) . Instead, I tried some Irregular Choice shoes on- I wanted to try Discobunny but they had no 8's and then I tried an 8 in the Flamingo one and the shiny t-bar ones (like your Lambkin without the lamb) but they were a 41 so really hurt! I loved all the Miss L Fire shoes, the Mary Jane glittery T-bars are reallly nice! I am so tempted by the pale blue sparkly pair!x
ReplyDeleteOh no, heehee! They've got an 8 online at Schuh of the Bluebird and if you write a review for a pair of shoes or something on their website, they'll email you a 15% off code ; ) Think it's only the beige cherries that they also have in an 8, all the rest seem to just be 7's. Office have 8's in all of theirs. I can't stop thinking about the lobster ones...really want to take the plunge and buy them!
DeleteI know, I'm tempted by the lobsters too (particularly since my old email addresses involved Lobsters) but Schuh size 8 is a 41 so no good to me, I think Miss L Fire only go up to 41, not 42. I found the bar between your toes uncomfortable-it is like that rucksack material . X
DeleteAh that's no use. Hmmm, don't like uncomfortable things between my toes! I always sized up in IC split toes because they were uncomfy otherwise...would maybe have to try these first.
DeleteI LOOOOVE these shoes (especially from the front) and the outfit is perfect, the burger bangle is so fun!
ReplyDeleteThank you. Sadly I realised it was a ring : ( Really wish it were a bangle x
DeleteOh, so sweet, it takes me to 50s films, an era I love, and the cherries are so sweet! And more, comfy shoes! Nice skirt and sweater and I never saw such a bracelet! A burger!!!! That's genius! I loved this styling now!

Oh... I see it's a ring... :( I like it anyway, but prefer as a bracelet!
DeleteMUCH cooler as a bangle, we can all see it, they should make one!
