Day 1024 - Shoesday Tuesday

Wearing REDValentino black patent Snow White Dopey heel shoes
Shoes:  Black patent Snow White 'Dopey' court RED Valentino

Hello! I'm trying to jumble my remaining shoes up a bit now, so you get variety each week, but other times I just get so excited by a new buy I have to post it right away!  This pair have been waiting a loooong time!  Not that I wasn't excited by them when they arrived, I hasten to add. Remember I asked you which pairs you'd like to see next? These were the "dwarf".  I thought a lot of people would mistakenly think of my Irregular Choice gnomes instead.  Haha, tricked you.
Ok, so first off, I'm a huge RED Valentino fan.  I seem to fall for entire collections of their girly awesomeness each season (utterly in love with the frog prince shoes and ring and all the polka dots this Spring) and last year I was particularly excited about their Disney 'Snow White' stuff.  My main obsession being the court shoes with dwarf heel.  They also came in nude with Grumpy, which I preferred because he looked so mean and moody and reminded me of a rude 'expressions doll' I used to have.  I could totally go off on a tangent here about going into a store room under an arcade in Scarborough, to clear them out get him, on holiday one year, but I shan't!  The black patent pair I got, featured Dopey and man did I stalk the hell out of these.  It got to around sale time last winter and I preyed on these wee shoes, watching them sell out of most sizes (literally one pair left in my size and a few pairs in the half size up) reminding myself that I couldn't buy them until they were reduced. The moment the sale hit, I pounced, to get them half price!  My size had gone, but there were one or two pairs of the 38.5, so I went for that.  From the couple of Red Valentino shoes I've tried, I know they have a tendency to be quite generous and again that's what I found here.  The shoe itself is pretty shallow and because of the narrow toe, I worried I might need to size up.  So from that aspect, I'm glad the choice was made for me, but there is a slight gap at the back between my foot and the shoe, so if I'd had the option (or you ever come across a pair), I'd recommend your usual size or sizing down if between sizes.  The heel is much lighter than I expected, as it's gold plastic, not metal.  There's some toe cleavage, whether you like that or not and I'm not a massive pointed toe fan but think it works well on these.  The dwarf mould is great, a lot of nice details and instantly recognisable as a Disney dwarf.  What do you think, do you like these?

Fit:  4" heel. Run a little large, so take usual size or size down if between sizes.
Comfort:  Might slip off my heel when walking, as they're a little too big.   REDValentino black patent Snow White Dopey heel shoes REDValentino black patent Snow White Dopey heel shoes back REDValentino black patent Snow White Dopey shoes heel detail Wearing REDValentino black patent Snow White Dopey heel detail Wearing REDValentino black patent Snow White Dopey heel shoes back
