I'm back with a luxury edit of The Shoe Girl Styles It for the weekend (well what little is left of it). There's been a lot going on at home with my new shoe room this week (floor done, units ordered, arrived and built), so that's exciting! However, it's meant I've overdone the standing and trips up and downstairs. Every once in a while I suppose I subconsciously test myself to see if my body can withstand a little extra activity and every time it lets me down! It's really disappointing and on top of feeling completely shattered (sicky actually), it's dampened my enthusiasm and motivation for everything including my blog. I hate when that happens and I feel like it's been a constant cycle of this lately. However, there's light at the end of the tunnel for my shoe room (literally just have to move everything in) but I have to realise I can't do it myself and I've not to get disheartened about that. I wanted to blog tonight, more to prove I could still do it than anything else, but it all came together very easily and my creative vision was clear!

Would You Wear...?

Hola! A new feature that I thought might be fun (feel free to tell me otherwise), where we discuss a random pair of shoes and inevitably ask, would you wear them? I'm going to pick ugly, weird, wonderful, anything that I think will provoke a reaction (and we all know my footwear choices aren't exactly run of the mill). I am partnering up with my other blog Pink Haired Princess to ask the same question, though there it will be anything fashion related rather than shoes specifically. Shoes: Blue floral 'Hello Ha' Irregular Choice 

Hola! I ordered a truck load of shoes over Easter (I swear it's for blogging purposes-to keep Shoesday Tuesday going that little bit longer, wink, wink) and these were one of the pairs. I completely fell in love with the original Hello Ha and am still gutted I never got my hands on the mint ones, but sometimes you have to prioritise 'this' for 'that' and then somewhere down the line, it's too late and they've gone. Such is life, though I'll continue looking and hopefully get them one day!!  The tweed ones that came next, I wasn't overly enamoured with, but this season, the geo floral prints and bright, bold florals are really lovely.

Goal for next week: be more organised! I was doing so well and then the past couple of weeks, I've just lost it. I've been chasing my tail, wondering how I ever had time to post more than one thing a week! So yes, another late post, but, big but, my shoe shelves are on their way for my shoe room, whooooop! My laminate arrives tomorrow and they come back to fit it on Wednesday, so I went ahead and spent all my savings on cabinets and shelves. I mentioned this on Facebook, but it took way too long trying to work out exactly what would fit in the room, what was needed and how many and what type of shoe it would hold. Hopefully I've covered all my bases. Let's not think of the nightmare ahead trying to navigate hundreds of pairs of shoes into some sort of order on the shelves.

Hello! I'm trying to jumble my remaining shoes up a bit now, so you get variety each week, but other times I just get so excited by a new buy I have to post it right away!  This pair have been waiting a loooong time!  Not that I wasn't excited by them when they arrived, I hasten to add. Remember I asked you which pairs you'd like to see next? These were the "dwarf".  I thought a lot of people would mistakenly think of my Irregular Choice gnomes instead.  Haha, tricked you.

Hello lovelies. This is my final Miss L Fire post of the week and I kept the best pair (IMO) for last. If you missed my previous posts, here are Flamingo A Gogo, Bluebird and Cherry Pop. I've decided to continue tomorrow, which is usually reserved for my 'luxe' edition of TSGSI, with another Miss L Fire style (it's a goodie). This week I'm styling the latest collection from Miss L Fire, which if you haven't already seen, is totally adorable! The look today is very simple, yet one of my all-time favourites on TSGSI. These shoes do come in a higher heeled wedge and you know how I can't walk in flats? I'm wondering if the wedges would be high enough and more my style (though for some reason I prefer the flat sandal).

The Shoe Girl Styles It: Easter Special

By way of an apology for my non existent blogging this week, I have a bumper edition of TSGSI. Whoop! I've been terribly down in the dumps recently, which really isn't like me. Blogging and interacting with people was the last thing I felt like doing, so I took the time and shut myself off for a few days. My nephews were staying overnight this weekend, so it was all Batman, Lego and Cluedo and today I was glad to be scoping out high heels and fancy dresses! All my outfits are loosely Easter themed, pretty florals and pastels and the like. In order not to confuse things, I'll do one at a time.
