I thought I'd choose the photo of these shoe-boots on the foot, as you can see the shape more clearly. They are called Take Me Home from ASOS £42. They've got a peep toe and front slit. I wanted something plain to show off this dress, but at the same time, wanted some flesh on show because the rest of the outfit is very black and covered up. I would wear the faux leather jacket open and the leggings and hat just felt right for this dress. Onto the dress and wowzers, how fab is this? I love the fun, childlike print with little mermaids and boats and all kinds of sea life. I'm also a sucker for a collar and the plain black definitely inspired me to keep the rest of the outfit black, leaving the colourful, playful design as centrepiece but wearing it in a grown-up way. Do you like this outfit?
