You may remember me buying the unicorn version of these shoes early last year. I resisted the dinosaurs for a long time, but a while back, I got them in the sale, when the price was just too good to refuse. At first glance you think they are really similar to the pegasus print, but actually side-by-side, they are quite different. The print here is a lot brighter, the other pair more pastel. Then the split design on these differs with each foot (the others were rainbow fur fabric on both). Here you have a smooth patent glitter in neon pink and on the other foot, purple. They have a real 80's vibe for me because of this, they feel like Jem shoes! The shape definitely adds to it. The heel also differs from my other pair (it was ombre blue to silver), these are mirrored gold. I should've taken photos of them together for you to see, but you can probably tell from that past review post how different they are.
Sizing, I find these true to size. Maybe a bit tighter than my last pair, but I'd put that down to the heat at the minute. My feet are definitely swollen and I was wearing thick tights too, so I reckon they're the same. The shoe is quite rigid, but I think with wear, they'll soften and loosen a bit. I don't find the toe shape on these problematic. It's not super slim fitting, like a lot of pointed toes can be.
The purple side is definitely my favourite of the two, I love the rainbow finish the glitter has in the light. The pink is much more vivid than it looks here and the purple a bit deeper. Like with the pegasus print, the placement of the dinosaurs can vary between shoes, so you might have some heads or tails cut off. I think you get a good mix of all the dinos across the shoe though and with the print being so colourful, there's not a mass of just one colour.
Wearing: Flower Tights, Irregular Choice Care Bears.
Fit: 4" heel, no platform. Slip on. True to size, not too narrow in the toe.
Comfort: Sturdy, solid heel, shoe a little hard to begin with.
