Shoes: Red Rosie With Love, Rosanna Gault for Irregular Choice 

Busy day today, so I'm just going to jump straight into it. Apologies first-off for the clashing pyjamas, but I've really overdone it the past couple of days trying to get all these photos taken, so I was unable to get back upstairs and get dressed.  The light was also fading (later delivery than I hoped), but I really wanted to get these photos up today.

Day 1099 - Shoesday Tuesday

Shoes: Irregular Choice Santa's Ninth 

I've been dying to show you this full outfit as it's definitely become one of my favourite's of all that I've ever worn on the blog.  It all started last year with the beautiful 'Alpine' print at Lindy Bop.  It was love at first sight, but given that it was pre-Christmas, money was tight and I couldn't buy it right away and it sold out.  I'd really wanted the Gilda design with button front and collar.  They did have the one that came with the jacket left in my size, so as I'd had my heart set on wearing this print last Christmas, I bought that.  It was beautiful in the flesh, but not a great fit on me.  The dress was too tight on the bust (to the point I couldn't breathe and half my boobs were hanging out), but a bigger size would've been too big at the waist and the jacket was actually a little large (and very boxy) on me and because they came as a set, you couldn't do anything about that.  The dress itself looked stunning (though indecent because of the fit) but see when you put the jacket with it, WOW! It was like super, super, amazing.  However because of the fit issues and fact I just don't suit jackets, I returned it.  I even bought the skirt (was desperate for something) in the same print later and it drowned me (so I returned that too), but Gilda never came back.  Until this year (well last year)!  I snapped it up right away to save for this (last!) Christmas.  When I'd wanted to wear it in 2015, I'd just bought the Rudolph furry shoes and thought they'd be perfect together, but I had to wait and see what 2016 would bring and along came Santa's Ninth.

Hello, how is this week treating you so far? I've been super productive, so long may it continue! Well it actually did, until right now. I have a sold out item in my set (because I made the sets last weekend) and I haven't replaced it. I will provide a couple of alternatives that are available to buy, but I'm battling the tiredness after exerting myself showering today, so there you go! Day 1098 - Shoesday Tuesday

Shoes: Customised tinsel court shoes 

Hello, today I have my new year outfit that I intended to show you a couple of weeks ago, but the flu put paid to that!  Our Christmas had been pretty quiet; my sister and her family alternate their Christmas (with the in-laws) and they weren't at us this year.  Mum wasn't feeling well, my other sister had a cold and so we just had a day in our jammies, which was rather nice.  Boxing Day was a lot busier, but I'll show you that outfit next week.  After loving getting dressed up then, I decided I'd do it on New Year's Day as well, even although it was just the four of us having our meal.  Then on the actual day I was pretty tired so wasn't going to bother, but I pushed myself to do it, as I had nothing better to do quite frankly (!) and I'd really wanted to wear these shoes I'd made.  You can read my tutorial post here if you missed it, but I didn't have an outfit planned to wear with them at all.

Hello, hope you are all well? I've just gotten over the flu, which floored me this past week or so. I thought I was avoiding it, but everyone seems to have a cold or sick bug just now, so I knew sooner or later, it was inevitable! I took a full week off, which was rather nice to just rest completely (I wasn't able for anything else to be honest), away from social media and everything else and then the past few days, I've been busy with bloggy things, though I haven't published anything in a while. I'm trying to prep in advance! I do have a fantastic trio of outfits lined up for you over the next few days, centred around these shoes.
