The Shoe Girl Styles It: Melissa Cinderella Lady Dragon

I know I've been a bit flaky these past few weeks. I don't know what's wrong with me, but I hope I'm making up for it in this whopper of a post! I have one pair of shoes to style, but three different looks for you. Not only that, but I managed to cover all bases with casual, smart and fancy, High street, mid-range and high end, along with plus size. That really is a little bit of everything and it's all thanks to some super versatile shoes. Disney Cinderella Melissa Lady Dragon shoes stock image on white background

They are high on my wishlist right now, the Melissa & Disney Cinderella Lady Dragon £198. The uppers are entirely clear, as is the heel. In the usual Lady Dragon slingback style with peep-toe and a huge butterfly, Cinderella style, on the front. I want them, badly! I might inspire you to put them on your wishlist too, after this post.

For my high end look, I went for the traditional, but modern day Cinderella look. Though these may be 'jelly' shoes, for the price, you're going to want to wear them with everything in your wardrobe, fancy evening-wear included! Adrianna Papell have the most amazing gowns, that I'm sure would make anyone feel like a princess. Actually this one is called "sleeping beauty" and perhaps has elements of Elsa from Frozen with it's icy palette, but I'd 100% feel like Cinders in this. I would add some statement earrings and this Christian Louboutin clutch, complete with 'shoe' clasp, because Cinderella is all about the shoes! On my nails I'd wear Red Carpet Manicure, the Cinderella edition in Life Is Short, Wear A Tiara (great name). Now where is that pumpkin coach?Polyvore set of high end outfit for Melissa Disney Cinderella Lady Dragon shoes
Worn with: Adrianna Papell 'sleeping beauty' gown £232 (sale), Reminiscence clip on earrings £153, Christian Louboutin 'Loubi Lula' silver clutch £921 and Red Carpet Manicure Disney Cinderella Gel Polish in Life Is Short, Wear A Tiara £12.99.

My mid-priced outfit is also my plus size look and I wanted to go outside the traditional Cinderella colours. The shoes are colourless, so lend themselves to absolutely any colour or print. Here, I've paired a Clements Ribeiro at Evans patterned skirt with a Studio 8 fitted cardigan in pink. For accessories I chose these London Retro 'Nancy' sunglasses and I'd add a butterfly brooch to the cardi. The wicker/tassel Hoss Intropia clutch was a kitsch finishing touch.Polyvore set of mid priced plus size outfit for Melissa Disney Cinderella Lady Dragon shoes
Worn with: Studio 8 'Jeni' cardigan £59, Clements Ribeiro floral skirt £45, Indulgence butterflies brooch £11.25, Hoss Intropia clutch £195 and London Retro 'Nancy' sunglasses £50.

This is my casual, high-street look and the fantastic thing about the Lady Dragon style is they really go with anything. Many people have worn them on their wedding day, but they look equally stylish with jeans! Here I teamed these ripped skinnies with a cute bunny print blouse from Topshop. I couldn't resist these Cinderella clip-on earrings and for some contrast, I'd wear red lips and carry this SkinnyDip x Felicity Hayward 'Lady Luck' bag. There was definitely an element of luck in the fairytale, I mean what are the chances that nobody else perfectly fitted that glass slipper?Polyvore set of high street outfit for Melissa Disney Cinderella Lady Dragon shoes
Worn with: Topshop rabbit print wrap blouse £36, MOTO ripped 'Jamie' jeans £42, Disney 'Cinderella' clip on earrings £11.99, SkinnyDip and Felicity Hayward 'Lady Luck' heart bag £30 and Revlon Colorburst matte lip stain in Striking £7.99.

Have I convinced you of their versatility yet?  Which look was your favourite or how would you wear them? Let me know x

  1. They are utterly beautiful!!! I've never tried Lady Dragons on but I'd like to! I adore your high end look,,such a dreamy dress!!
I went to Irregular Choice on Friday and took a photo for you! I almost tried on the Squeezy bear shoes but I was too scared I'd like them too much. That said, I ended up buying a pair of Poetic License shoes from upstairs! They had your Russian doll bag for £39 which I loved seeing in real life but someone snapped it up pretty sharpish!x

  2. Ooh, I'm not sure I could ever wear these. I am so scared of showing my feet off, they're such a mess and a horrible shape now and I don't think I could comfortably wear clear heels.
