Hola, I intended to post this, this morning, but had a busy day. Actually I was supposed to do it last night, but it got to midnight and I figured it could wait until morning. I've been busy in the shoe room, much more difficult than I expected rearranging them into an order. You've got so many things to factor in and then find a random thing like pale pink boots, when all your others are dark and they stick out like a sore thumb and look stupid, but are too high to go elsewhere. Once they were sort of in position, we've chopped and changed the order multiple times. I've heard "it'll be worth it in the end" millions of times, so yet more patience required (fyi it's been 5 years of patience to date)!

I know I've been a bit flaky these past few weeks. I don't know what's wrong with me, but I hope I'm making up for it in this whopper of a post! I have one pair of shoes to style, but three different looks for you. Not only that, but I managed to cover all bases with casual, smart and fancy, High street, mid-range and high end, along with plus size. That really is a little bit of everything and it's all thanks to some super versatile shoes.

Another outfit post for you this week, again from a wee while ago.  It was the last time I left the house, I can't remember when, beginning of July I think.  Yet another hospital appointment, this time with a specialist.  I use that term loosely!  Not sure why they insist upon such early starts for patients with chronic illnesses.  So I wasn't sure what to wear, what the weather would be like and didn't have much time, but now that I'm not wearing makeup, I can get ready pretty quickly.

Hola, it's really humid here today (actually too warm for me, roasting indoors) and I seem to have impeccable timing at choosing an outfit not weather appropriate to the day! Never mind.

Day 1035 - Shoesday Tuesday

Shoes:  Lollipop Lorelei court Iron Fist

These shoes were on my list of ones you hadn't seen already and though I have photos in a folder somewhere that I took at the time, I actually wore them for real (yep, outside the house), so you're getting a whole outfit instead. They were taken a couple of months ago when I was going for blood tests, not something I'm particularly fond of. You'd think I'd be used to it by now, but actually the more I get, the worse I am! In the beginning, it never bothered me. I've become so accustomed to my doctor doing it now, that I fret if I don't know who's doing it and whether they are any good!  Plus I like that he 'springs' it on me, so I don't have time to worry.  It's been said more than once that I have 'no veins' so then they have to stick me more than once and that's the part I dislike. This time I was going to the phlebotomy department with a "random" but she totally put me at ease.  She said before she could take blood, she had to talk about my wonderful shoes (the "take your mind off it" trick, my childhood doctor used to deploy). At 5 or 35, talking about mermaids and shoes is very much the way to calm me! I'm making it sound like I totally freak out, I don't (outwardly), it's just not something I look forward to...but then would anyone? Anyway, she was very nice and pulled the tourniquet so tight that she got a vein right away and said that's the reason I've had so much trouble before (because nurses are afraid of hurting me),  FYI that part, I don't mind, "tighten away"!

Hello! Sorry for the absence the past couple of days, my new laptop arrived!! I was starting to think it wasn't coming, but it did and then it took ages to set-up and worse yet, transfer all my files from my old desktop PC. Not only is the laptop new, but I upgraded to Windows 10 (from 7!) so that is completely unfamiliar too. It's taking a while to get used to, just using the mouse (think I'll need to use a 'real' one because I already feel RSI coming on and keep misjudging my clicking/letting go), the new screen width, colours and silly things like that, are all so different. I'm sure I'll get used to it, but it takes time and the past two days have been spent solidly setting up and transferring.  Which wasn't quite to plan and I was on the point of tears yesterday morning, but am now glad to say all my photos are here, thank goodness.  The brilliant news though is I can now use Instagram, big whoop! I thought you needed a fancy phone for it, but apparently not. I'm still finding my feet with it, but you can follow me here and I'll update my 'contact me' icons in the sidebar next week. In the meantime, you came here for shoes and what about these mary-janes?

I've gone a bit Autumnal today, typical on a day that has been rather pleasant! I must say I always get really excited when A/W stuff starts appearing in shops. I'm so over summer the moment I see that!  It doesn't work the other way round though, summer stuff just doesn't excite me in winter!

Hello, I hope you're all keeping well this week. I attempted a mass photo session earlier (plenty of Shoesday Tuesday to come) but didn't get beyond photographing these shoes-in my head I'm more capable. My body just gives up on me after a minute or two! I was so sore and literally shaking, so called it a day.  Yesterday on Pink Haired Princess I showed you my newest character heels from Irregular Choice, so today I have some more photos and you can see how they look on the foot.
