I'll admit that I forget that just because I like quirky things, it doesn't mean everyone does. So I'll often think something is 'normal', but actually it's quite 'out there' to someone else (i.e. both my sisters). So I chose something I actually like this week, that isn't too in your face, but perhaps we'll still have discussions on positive and not so positive points. The shoes are ASOS 'Poppy' £45 peep toes and are white with multi coloured spots in differing sizes, finished with a large bow. I know the colours are different, but they remind me of Mr Blobby. Yes, that irritating pink fool that hung around with Noel Edmonds (so could've taken that statement in another direction there, but I shan't). I used to get so irritated by him constantly stumbling and falling, but I can look back with slight nostalgia now and not hate him and his Blobby, Blobby, Blobby song so much, heehee! Anyway, I think these shoes are a lovely twist on a classic style and generally a gorgeous shape, but do some find the bow too big or the colours too much? Like I say, I'm a hopeless judge. My vote would be a definite yes, what about you? You might want to check out the quirky Karl Lagerfeld bag over on Pink Haired Princess where I'm also asking Would You wear?

Would You Wear...?
We have some very colourful shoes this week in Would You Wear? but first let's see what we thought last time. Remember it was the spiky, unicorn horned platforms by YRU? 62.5% of you wouldn't wear them, 25% might (this was the bracket I was in) and 12.5% definitely would. Fear of being ridiculously tall and stabbing yourself, someone else or something also played a part in the no or maybe votes. However they were certainly more liked than the previous week.

You know what I will say. Love the print but TOO HIGH! Also peeptoes = painful!
ReplyDeleteHaha knew they would be too high for you. I never have issues with peep toes hurting?!
DeleteThese shoes are amazing! I think I am like you, I love quirky things, so these shoes are for me normal. I loved the print and the bow, and I would love to have them!

Yes, absolutely.
DeleteI LOVE them!!! I love them so much I'm thinking of getting them (after pay day, if I still have any money left over, which probably won't happen:/). They are soooo cute!
ReplyDeleteYesss! They're so fresh, I love them too.
DeleteGosh I love these, saw them on Amber's blog a while ago and totally fell for them. Did you order?
ReplyDeleteNo I didn't, been buying too many other shoes lately. Sale time is killing my purse!
