Day 879 - Chill Out, What You Yellin' For?

Shoes: Floral tapestry 'Damsel' Jeffrey Campbell @Office

It's been really pleasant to have a spell of sunshine and warmish weather with no rain. Monday didn't look like a scorcher but was around 22 degrees, possibly the warmest it's been this year. It was dull and overcast though, so this outfit was perfect as a nod to the warm weather but without looking too ridiculous with no sunshine! I forgot how high these wedges are, much higher than the (similar) ASOS Ablaze boots. My old physio would have been going crazy at me stooping using my walking stick with too high shoes! She gave me a few sticks in a variety of lengths, so I could use them with high or very high heels. I've become so accustomed to my own stick now though, that the other ones feel uncomfortable, so I don't use them. Plus mine has a pretty pattern on it!

Wearing: Coral lace dress George at Asda, pearl and beaded cardigan Primark, belt taken from another dress, lace socks H&M.
Fit: True to size (these are a UK5), 6 1/2" heel and 2 1/2" platform.
Comfort: Quite a steady base to walk on despite the height, I wouldn't sprint in them though!

  2. I think you really need to invest in an adjustable stick Gem ;0)
I've got a couple of lovely patterned ones that adjust which is so much easier as it saves my back & I'm so much more stable.
Those boots are gorgeous btw ;0)
That shoeaholics website from your other post could prove rather dangerous for me ;0D especially if they get in more Vivienne Westwood as I'd love some in my closet, don't think my husband will be very pleased though! And my daughter most definitely won't approve as she informed me that she's the grown up not me & did I really need more shoes!

    1. I got a lovely adjustable one in such a bright and colourful print, but I hate the clicky sound it makes!!! You can hear it a mile away and it irritates me so much (even when I hear other people coming towards me with one). I wish they didn't click and clunk because they seem to come in the coolest patterns.

Yeah shoeaholics is brilliant! It's the Kurt Geiger outlet store, so there's always some great bargains to be had.
