Shoes: Amethyst globe 'Lady Dragon' Vivienne Westwood Anglomania & Melissa
No 'Monster High Monday' today because I was feeling a bit bleugh this morning and left it until pretty late to get dressed. I applied minimal makeup (quickly) and tried to do something with my hair! I bleached it last night and seeing as I haven't had time to order any dye, it looks like I'll be making up a concoction from the colours I have left. There's no conditioner or styling products in it today (so it's ready for colouring), so it was an absolute nightmare to brush after I washed it and it's a bit difficult to style. However, I managed a little beehive with what little hair I have, which was quite impressive! The ends (which you can't see) weren't bleached but have lost so much purple, they're a dirty grey shade! We'll see what it ends up like on...Wednesday, as I'm colouring it tomorrow afternoon. A tiny little bit about this outfit (how perfect are the shoes with the dress?), I've had this dress for months and it's a plum colour which clashed horribly with my purple hair hence why I've never worn it. So seeing as I'm blonde for a day, I decided to give it a whirl.
Wearing: Plum swallow print dress New Look, leggings Primark, hair scarf M&Co, Mischief sunglasses Irregular Choice.
Fit: 4 1/4" heel, true to size (narrow in the toe).
Comfort: No issues.
Love the mini beehive! I really like the blonde, although I'm looking forward to seeing what hairdye concoction you muster up!

DeleteI actually think you should leave your hair blonde!! it really suits you :-) I wish I could get my hair a nice shade of blonde :( did u use a colour stripping product? Lovely outfit btw x
ReplyDeleteThank you. I just used Garnier Nutrisse Pre Lightener+, it only takes my hair to a yellowish shade, although the odd bit was pure white.
DeleteI think you look great blonde! You should totally keep the blonde! Maybe even a silvery blonde? I think it would look awesome, and so different to your usual colours so it's still a huge change :D
ReplyDeleteThank you, I used to be blonde for years and used a great L'oreal one that was silver/ashy toned, so it took down the yellowness as I have a natural golden tint to my hair usually.
